Extract custom-defined key facts from any number of fund reports and present them in a structured format: moccamedia now offers this service.
Investors with holdings in numerous target funds receive quarterly reports that need to be analyzed. These publications are often very extensive, and each has its own presentation style and structure. This makes direct comparisons difficult and the analysis time-consuming. As a result, it takes a long time to identify where the risks in the portfolio actually lie.
moccamedia’s reporting service streamlines this process. It extracts the key metrics relevant to asset managers, pension funds, or family offices from incoming fund reports, standardizes them, and presents them in a structured format. moccamedia first developed this service in 2023 exclusively for an investment firm specializing in real assets. Since this summer, the Trier-based company has been offering this field-tested service to all fund managers who regularly evaluate a large number of target funds.
“In fund reporting, gathering and structuring the numbers takes more time than analyzing them,” says Patrick Becker, CEO of moccamedia. “We take this step off our clients’ hands. We provide them with a verified database, allowing them to focus on their core task: evaluating their investments.”
From Three Years of Live Operation to the Market
Currently, moccamedia regularly analyzes reports from approximately 190 funds on behalf of its clients, including bond and balanced funds as well as real estate, infrastructure, and private equity funds. Data from recurring reports is available immediately upon receipt, with an error rate of less than 0.01 percent.
Every recorded value remains traceable back to its source in the original report, and the same report yields the same result every time it is run. This ensures the data quality and traceability required for audits and regulatory compliance. A closed system architecture and servers located in Germany provide additional data security.
Software and Services from a Single Source
moccamedia offers a complete package of software and services, with each client receiving a customized setup: The team works with the client to determine which key metrics are needed, tailors the data model accordingly, and the software delivers updated data for analysis as soon as new reports are received.
“Institutional capital is currently flowing heavily into private equity, infrastructure, and real estate. It is precisely in these areas that fund reports differ the most,” says Becker. “Investors in these asset classes, in particular, benefit from an automated and standardized analysis of the reports.”
At the ALFI Private Assets Conference on November 9 and 10, 2026 in Luxembourg, moccamedia will present the service to an audience of industry professionals.
