Many submissions, two jury sessions and, in the end, an impressive shortlist: moccamedia was part of the second main jury of the Media Award Austria.
In August, the main jury of the Austrian Media Award 2026 met in Vienna to select the shortlist from all submissions.
Entries from the four categories “Excellent media strategy”, “Excellent media innovation”, “Excellent use of data” and “Excellent sustainability in media” were reviewed, discussed and evaluated.
Dani Schogger, head of our Austrian business unit, joined the panel of experts this year as a jury member for Austria’s most important award in the communication and media industry.
The awards show takes place on 8 September at the Leopold Museum in Vienna.
The jury brings together media experts from very different corners of the industry: advertisers, media sales houses, agencies and the trade press. Each perspective applies a different standard to the same work. “It was very interesting to see how solid assessments develop from this. The many innovative submissions also impressed me greatly and prove once again the independence of the Austrian advertising and media industry,” says Dani Schogger.
“The Media Award shows how much impact good media planning can have when it uses data intelligently and breaks new ground. That is also our approach at moccamedia. We develop our own high-performance tools, advise our clients in Austria in line with their business model and sales structure, and translate campaign goals into a data-based, innovative and effective media strategy.”
The Media Award is an initiative of EPAMEDIA, Gewista, Azerion Austria, Kleine Zeitung, Kronen Zeitung, ORF-Enterprise, RMS Austria and VGN Medien Holding and is being presented for the 23rd time this year.
